My Nucleus My most stable isotope is 259No. This means that I have 102 protons and 157 neutrons. These two things make up the nucleus. There are protons that give off a positive charge of +1 and neutrons have no charge. However there is a drawback to my most stable isotope, I only have about an hour (58 minutes) to live. since I have no actual sable isotope then I have no atomic mass because that is based off of the stable isotope. due to the fact of this I don't have a official mass on a periodic table like this one. if you notice that the mass is in (parentheses) because there really isn't a stable mass. | My Electrons ![]() as you can tell from this picture I have a total of 102 electrons. My valence electron number is 2, meaning in the outer shell there are a total of 2 electrons | My Properties There aren't many uses for myself due to the fact that I only last a few seconds.so I can't say that I do much for the world but I am still an element. |
| My Home I don't live naturally in many places however you can always find me at the bottom of the periodic table nice and easy as element 102. | I am Nobelium! | My Compounds I make compounds with Oxygen. My most common oxidation number is +3. However I have no other friends in this world. Because everyone is friendswith oxygen because they are everywhere so everyone can meet Oxygen, however I don't have many friends, there just isn't enough time to make friends in an hour. |
My Story: I am named after Alfred Nobel who created and funded the Nobel Prize, and made his fortune manufacturing dynamite. | My Jobs Unfortunately due to my short half life I don't have any jobs, I can't stay around enough to get paid so I don't bother to work. | Check out the last 27 second of this video to see the great Nobel himself |
