My Nucleus contains 23 protons. My atomic weight is 50.9415, but I have been trying to cut back. I have two sisters named Iso and Tope.

1s2 2s2p6 3s2p6d3 4s,2 is my address and I am always home. I have 23 electrons.

My Properties
I am bright white and have very good structual strength. I am very flexible and I am able to melt at 3470* F. If you want to boil me I would have to be 6165* F. My crystal structure is a body-center cubic. I am classified as metallic and my standard state is solid at 298 K.

My Home
(Body, Planet, Universe)
I am found all over the world. In nature I am a free metal however I am also found in minerals such as carnotite, roscoelite, vanadinite, mottramite and patronite. I am found in crude oils and some of me is even in the spectra of the sun and other stars. Surprisingly I am also found in all of your bodies.
I Am Vanadium!

My Friends
I have very many friends. My most common oxidation number is 5. I have hydride friends, flouride friends and chloride friends. I have bormide friends, Iodide friends and oxide friends. Sulifide friends, Selenide friends and Tulleride friends. Nitride friends and last but certainly not least, Carbonyl friends.

My History
I was discovered by both Andres Manuel del Rio and Nils Sefstrom. I was named after the goddess of beauty in Scandanavian Mythology. My first discovery was by Rio in Mexico in 1803. Then I jpgwas rediscovered in 1831 by Sefstom. I was not dicovered as a metallic until 1867 by Henry Enfeild Roscoe.

My Jobs
My jobs are abundent and are all very important. Because of my structural strength I am used in nuclear applications. I am also used for making tools because I am rust-resistant. In addition to my other jobs I can be used in my foil form as a bonding agent and I can make magnets. Although very different from the rest of my jobs I can also be used for dyeing and painting fabrics.
