My Compounds
Natural zirconium ores are found mixed with Hafnium. Zirconium belongs to the transition metals family. Zirconium is a good conductor electricity and heat. It is still malleable and can still be shaped in to other forms.

Zirconinuim ignites violently when it is exposed to air. Since this metal ignites when met in contact with air, when its ores are discovered, it contains Hafnium too so it wont ignite. Zirconium is normally sold with only 99.6% pur zirconium at about $150/ kg. Zirconium - Chemistry with Mr. Olson

When ever you feel itchyness from that poison ivy of that bug bite, zirconium is helpin relieve you of your suffering becuase it is placed into anti itch creams. Zirconiums majoe useage though is nuclear applications. If niobium is added to zirconium, it becomes very conductive at low temperatures and is used to make superconductive magnets, which creates large-scale generation of electric power.
